Hi, I’m Jill.
In 2003, I decided to take a two week pottery class - I had no idea how it would change my life.
At the time, I had zero notions of picking up the art and certainly never thought I would make pieces that anyone would actually purchase from me.
Within a year I had my own pottery wheel and stumbled on a small kiln and before I knew it, I was making…well, not really much of anything - because pottery is difficult! But I kept at it and found a love for planters because of my love of growing plants.
Now, 17 years later, the pieces you see are a product of many hours of growth, frustration, happy dances and (really) ugly glazes.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned:
Never. Stop. Creating.
